Airman AX48U-6A

Inherently reliable and unparalleled in efficiency: The Airman AX48U-6A mini excavator.

Airman has remained a fixture of reliability and originality in the construction and heavy machinery industry since 1938 and has been building excavators for over 40 years. The AXu-6A Series is a culmination of the best aspects gleaned from the previous three series, blended with a range of new additions.

Efficiency & Comfort
An operating space designed for the ultimate ease of use. Energy-saving systems that contribute to reducing fuel costs. Improved maintainability in every detail. By improving operator ease of use as well as providing advanced functions and high performance for digging, loading, leveling, and other utility work, Airman has created a mini excavator that is certain to satisfy customers.

Dependable Safety
The design of the Airman AXu-6A series mini excavators gives top priority to safety, including ROPS/OPG capabilities and operator lever locks. The ROPS/OPG four-pole canopy and cabin protect the operator in the event the machine rolls over. The structure conforms to the ROPS safety standard. The cab also satisfies the OPG top guard safety standard to protect drivers from falling objects.

Pride in Durability
Higher durability of components delivers a new improved level of reliability. The new reinforced V-shaped boom cylinder guard prevents damage to the boom cylinder. Airman mini excavators feature a D-shaped frame to further protect the body from impact. Standard equipment within the AX-u series includes a flat-bottom bucket that resists wear to the welds of the bucket bottom plate. The blade is built tough with a box-section structure used or the stays to provide greater overall blade reliability. Openings in the stays improve the flow of dirt.
