Porter Group are looking for a true large scale, people leader with extensive heavy equipment sales experience in the NZ market, to take the helm as their National Sales Manager - Equipment. Based out of their purpose built, key location in Hamilton – this person will be responsible for the delivery of the scope of works for this market leading OEM group, from training, attraction, and retention schemes across NZ – to large scale business development across both existing and new clients and centralized account management providing assistance to our dedicated Territory Managers across the sectors that the Porter Group have been hard at work developing since their creation in 1945.
This role will also interface with all other departments within the Porters framework and requires a relatable leader with refined business acumen, proven ability to deliver across many pertinent avenues at any one time, and an ability to relate to the team and customers from all walks of life in a way that aligns to the Porter Group values. With a proven passion for customer service and ensuring that as a group - from the top down - number one focus is to do the job right, first time for the benefit of their clients and their team.
