Territory Hire Manager

Due to a recent move, EPIC Recruitment are looking for a customer focused salesperson, with an eye for detail and a track record in Canterbury Civil Construction market to step into the Heavy Equipment Hire market with a different perspective.  Working in with our hire sales team nationally, this person will be responsible for the delivery of a top of line customer service experience for our clientele looking to find solutions for their fleet/ upcoming jobs and interfacing daily with service and sales for this market leader. From leading by example as the conduit for all things rental related– you will be passionate in not only the thrill of the chase but your ability to convert and input deliverables around your customers specific needs that see you stand out from the rest. With a proven all-inclusive relationship-based approach from the first interaction, full circle to aftermarket and service delivery – you will lead the way for your team on what is your USP, but also set the benchmark for service above and beyond – making your mark as a “class above” the competition in the highly competitive hire market.

You will have:

• Proven tenure in the NZ Heavy Equipment/Transport/Automotive Market in a similar sales role or heavy equipment experience in a civil construction environment with a genuine passion and desire to take the next step in your career.
• A true problem solver who thinks ahead and understands the relationship between the customer, parts and service, and the how to get the best out of these interactions to benefit all parties.
• Ability to communicate both up and down and a relatable and approachable manner / open door policy.
• Solid computer acumen with an ability to input and draft documentation and interpret regular reporting documentation for your customers.
• Resilient in nature with a a strong understanding of what makes a good team tick and how to be a team player.
• Ability to be based out of the Canterbury Branch
